JERSEY GIRLS is a women only running group based on the island of Jersey run by Laura Storey and Kiley Hatter who are both qualified United Kingdom Athletics' Leaders in Running Fitness.  JERSEY GIRLS' aim is to support women who want to run in a friendly and non-competitive environment.



We offer Couch to 5k programs for total beginners, post 5k programs to help you increase your distance to 10k and beyond, interval training and hill work to help increase your pace, and our Sunday Socials which are relaxed Sunday morning runs usually followed by a coffee in a nearby cafe.  We limit the number of women on each of our programs to 10 to 12 women so that you get personal attention to guide you on your journey.

I did the course with Laura back in June 2016 and am still running 3 times a week. You will have weeks you want to quit and will think you can’t do it but you really really can, if you want to. It’s all mind over matter.

What We've Achieved

  • Over 45 women have successfully completed our Couch to 5k Courses, with with another 14 currently working towards their 5k.
  • Nine JERSEY GIRLS entered the 2016 Durrell Dash with some completing the 6k course and others the 13k course.
  • Six JERSEY GIRLS entered the Jersey Half Marathon in November 2016.
  • We entered 3 teams in to the 2016 Mourant Ozannes Relay Race with teams of five runners completing the full marathon course with sections varying from 4.8k to 11k.
